European ADRs Slightly Higher

American depository receipts of European stocks were 0.1% higher at 135.27 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Thursday morning. Gainers in Continental Europe were led by Nabriva Therapeutics (NBRV), an Austrian biopharmaceutical firm, up by 5.3%, followed by DBV Technologies (DBVT), a French clinical-stage pharma company, 3.7% higher, and Nokia (NOK), a technology investor, up by 3%. TiGenix (TIG), a Belgium-based biopharmaceutical company, was 2.0% higher.

In the UK, Trinity Biotech (TRIB), a manufacturer of medical diagnostic products, and Fly Leasing (FLY), an Irish aircraft leasing company, were both 2.5% higher, followed by Akari Therapeutics (AKTX), a development-stage biopharmaceutical company, up by 2.0% and Motif Bio Plc (MTFBW), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, up by 1.5%. Decliners in Continental Europe were led by CGG (CGG), a manufacturer of geophysical equipment, down by 8%, followed by argenx (ARGX), a Netherlands-based biopharmaceutical company, down by 2.2% and Spanish banks Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) and Banco Santander (SAN), 1.8% and 1.2% lower, respectively.
